  The best sushi restaurant in Barrie. Service is quick and friendly. The fish is always fresh. They just renovated for more seating. I highly recommend​ Sakana House!

  We were told there was a 15 minute wait for our table. After 30 minutes the Manager came out to tell us they had some reservations call in so she wasn't sure when we would get a table. After a good 5 minute back and forth I asked what she was saying and we were told to leave they wouldn't have a table for us. Several other couples were waiting for tables and they were fine, but my wife, sister and toddler son wouldn't get a table.
  
  I won't return to this restaurant for the simple reason that after 30 minutes of making us wait, they told us to leave. I watched them push two tables together for another foursome, but for us that was too much to ask. What kind of a manager tells waiting customers to leave the establishment? One that doesn't want our business. Which is fine; we will take our business to elsewhere.

  The service is excellent. The servers were constantly checking on us and taking our dirty dishes almost immediately.
  The food was delicious and fresh. I had both Japanese and Chinese food and both were some of the best I've ever had.

  Great selection on the all you can eat menu. Friendly and attentive staff. Price was fair considering the quality. Easily one of the best sushi places in Barrie!

  Amazing variety, fresh food, authentic cuisine, speedy service, friendly neighbourhood go-to restaurant and open late. This place has become our favourite in Barrie. We go here twice a week and have enjoyed many dishes. Best!
