  The staff couldn't figure out how to make coffee with a French press, twice was horribly made, here's a hint buy quality coffee and not presidents choice. The salade was bland and uninspired, wanting to charge $9 for a head of lettuce, some cherry tomatoes that were over due and one barely cooked egg with bacon bits and chicken, was very disappointing. The effort and passion in making food was clearly missing. Went here for a mother's day meal and what a mistake that was. I will not be returning here, if you're not going to make the best effort possible to serve quality food with ingredients that reflect it then why bother trying to serve something you wouldn't serve your family?

  This place is amazing, everything from the variety of drinks to the fantastic menu (including a vegan meal of the day) great music, service is phenomenal.

  Went to the Gastro pub last night for the first time. It definitely won't be the last. The food was incredible (the cauliflower bites were amazing). Rachel whom served us, was the best server I have come across my 4 years living in Barrie. I would go back just because of her. I highly suggest this place if you want some delicious food, great service and incredible beer selection.

  Outstanding menu, service, and draft selections! Great atmosphere and they offer a vegan option every day and its always different. And it's bloody delicious! My new favorite place! The chef will cater as well.

  Had the pulled beef tacos and kale salad. Food was tasty and fresh, and servers were super friendly! Great atmosphere.
