  Came here for a team hockey party after a tournament. I was extremely impressed with the personal service we received from the owner. The food came fast, was very high quality and delicious. Highly recommended.

  Absolute hidden gem.
  My son saw this advertised on the hockey boards and told us we had to come. The food is fantastic! Burgers are the real deal, like you'd make at home, chip truck fries.. Mmm. Also had the steak salad. Yup another winner. Try the burger in a wrap as well, impressive..
  
  Staff are super friendly and interested in your enjoyment.
  
  Long story short, well worth a visit. Total hidden gem in Barrie when you are tired of all the cold franchise stuff definitely worth a visit or 10.

  Ate here last Thursday on the patio. Server was fantastic. Place is nice inside and patio has a good format (other than chairs that are too low for the tables). Food was really good as well, except for that our burgers had a giant slice of a medium size onion as a dressing. I'd go for either a thin slice of a large onion or break up the onion. Holding back a star for that. Good prices on food and good specials.

  New ownership here, everyone working seemed really excited about the restaurant. The owner and the staff all came to our table and spoke with us. I thought the food was good and enjoyed the special with the pitcher. I think a place named the Penalty Box needs more hockey themed stuff on the walls. Go down and check out the Flying Monkeys Brewery decorations to see what I mean. Fill the walls with cool hockey stuff. Cause I felt the walls here were pretty bare. Get hockey players to visit and sign jerseys. Sponsor local teams and display the trophies they win. Keep prices low and build up a solid customer base.

  Just walked in, didn't recognize the place. Under New Management and it's much brighter, cleaner and just generally more inviting.
  Menu is a little light as they adjust from the old menu that was all Frozen items. Another week or so for their full menu to be available. Had their fries and gravy, others had a burger in a wrap and ceasar salad.
  Fries were amazing chip truck fries with those most amazing dark, beef gravy.
  Burger in a wrap was good as well.
  Good night of golden tee and food with friends and family.
